My name is Josh Hall and it is with great excitement that I formally announce my candidacy for the Rockford Public Schools Board of Education. I am a Rockford dad, a retired Army Counterintelligence Officer, an IT Director and Cybersecurity expert, and I have a passion for protecting and educating. Most of my adult life was spent serving our nation. Now, I want to serve our community. I vow to restore TRUST and ACCOUNTABILITY between Rockford Schools and Rockford Families.

Great job on the video.
I would like to see an emphasis on responsibility to taxpayers/stakeholders and use the word “taxpayer”.
Over 60% of the voters in RPS are taxpayers WITHOUT children in the schools.
Parents are only a portion of those you need to vote for you.

Thank you Duane. An excellent point that frequently gets lost. Public schools exist because the public pays taxes. Even my minor children (taxation without representation?) from their part-time jobs.
