Vows to Restore TRUST and ACCOUNTABILITY
It’s with great excitement that I formally announce my candidacy for the Rockford Public Schools Board of Education.
After retiring from the Army in 2019 after 20 years of service, my family chose Rockford largely because the stellar reputation of its schools – academic excellence, strong vocational education initiatives, great athletics.
But as our kids progressed through Valley View Elementary, North Rockford Middle, the Freshman Center, and now with the oldest about to graduate RHS this year, we have seen a growing erosion of trust between the board, district, parents, and community – a bipartisan concern that culminated in the voters’ unambiguous rebuke in last November’s bond proposal.
I vow to restore TRUST and ACCOUNTABILITY between Rockford Schools and Rockford Families.
I am a Rockford dad, a retired Army Counterintelligence Officer, an IT Director and Cybersecurity expert, and I have a passion for protecting and educating.
Most of my adult life was spent serving our nation.
Now, I want to serve our community.
